Cast a Line in the Elk River for some of the best fly fishing in British Columbia

Friday, 19 June 2009 14:48 by matt
One of the best ways to experience a glorious Fernie summer is by standing streamside in the Elk River and casting your fly into one of the many great trout filled pools. There are some great guides to choose from to help you enjoy this wonderful fishery. The staff at Elk River Guiding Co. provide a superb guiding experience. One of our favorites is Darcy Richardson- a little bit about Darcy

Darcy has a great passion for Guiding. He is a full time fishing guide in the summer and then guides bird hunts through the fall. In winters you will find him managing the Griz Bar at our community ski resort, Fernie Alpine Resort. To say Darcy is easy to get along with is is like saying water is wet. Everyone who spends a day with him enjoys his company as well as his expertise. Along with ending your day with Darcy and having a camera full of photos, you will likely go home with a great new joke to tell your friends.

You can book Darcy by calling 1-800-258-7669

Enjoy your day of fishing!
