Now I am no expert but we have experienced some very significant early season Snowstorms. A good sign now is that there are storms rolling through the Canadian Rockies and the we are getting cooler regular temperatures as well. If you take a snowshoe in the Alpine country - specifically the 5 Bowls of Fernie Alpine Resort you will see Pikas, marmots and other rodentia very busy doing their best to have buried away enough food to survive an epic winter! Given that many years the 5 Bowls of Fernie Alpine Resort are covered with over 30 feet of snowfall. Now my predictions are just that....i love skiing so let it snow now! But the Farmer's Almanac is real science! so lets go with their forecast....

Snow NOW!
