As the leafs fall and the snow flies the Ski Swaps are nearby! Ski Swaps are the most affordable way to buy your ski gear. Most of the Ski Swaps are operated by Local Ski Clubs. Usually the Ski Swap is also staffed by race coaches, ski instructors, ski shop staff or ski patrol who can also provide some good input on what type of gear to buy and the right size of skis to get. In and around the Canadian Rockies the towns of Fernie, British Columbia, Banff, Alberta and Canmore, Alberta have Ski Swaps. The biggest Ski Swap happens in Calgary, Alberta.

 Fernie Alpine Ski Team (FAST) SKI SWAP – The FAST Ski Swap will be held on November 14 at the Fernie Community Centre.  This is the best opportunity you will have to get great deal on all ski equipment for your entire family or to get rid of used equipment.  It is a major fund raiser for our club and a huge event in Fernie.  Important dates and times are as follows:

Ski Swap – November 14, 9 am to 3 pm
